Names of 12 tanks over 14 were found in various WWII photographs and footages. Colors has been discussed over and over and, as shown in Tanks in Hell (Casemate, 2015), there is even disagreement inbetween veterans themselves.

the elephant was either white or yellow, while tank's name appears yellow on all vehicles.
In the case of black and white photos, the difference occurs in the shade of gray: the name appears darker than the mastodon in the case of a white elephant (Ex: CUDDLES).
